Welcome to Fengqi You Group @ Northwestern University!
Our research focuses on the development of novel computational models, optimization techniques and systems analysis & design methods for complex engineered systems. We specifically address problems in the areas of energy – environmental systems engineering, sustainable process design and synthesis, planning and scheduling of batch and continuous processes and supply chain management through advanced modeling, simulation and optimization approaches. Our research work provides a balance between theory, computation and real world applications.
